Hollywood leading man Bruce Willis has attempted to quash rumors that he has been wearing a wedding band by claiming the ring was a gift from his daughter.

The 51-year-old actor was recently seen wearing what appeared to be a wedding band at an art show featuring the works of his "Lucky Number Slevin" co-star, actress Lucy Lui, but Willis has explained that the ring does not represent any pending nuptials for him.

Willis, who is set to soon begin filming the fourth installment in the "Die Hard" franchise, said he was wearing the ring from his eldest daughter, Rumer, on his ring finger due to its size.

"This is the only place where it fits," he said of the gold band. "It's to remind us of the bond between us."

Okay, that's sort of creepy.
