Roseanne Barr says she's having trouble growing comfortable with aging, but not with her weight.
The comedian jokes in the Nov. 6 issue of Newsweek that's she has had her stomach stapled so that it's "the size of a walnut and I still maintain my weight at 180." "I used to just gorge," she says. "Now I gorge all day on smaller amounts. I'm still fat and I always will be and I don't care." Barr, who discusses aging in her new HBO comedy special, also says she is close to her five children but knows she irritates them at times. "Well, I know it's unbelievable but I irritate people daily," she says. "The truth is I like it or I wouldn't do it. It's fun to see what's underneath all the the fake niceness, when you scratch and you see the crazy person come out." |
